Birchwood is a vibrant and welcoming 14-bed residential care home in Chesham with three purpose-built, spacious bungalows, supporting adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Just like a family, we want the best for each other and we’re here to support staff and people we support to have the best time and make life-long memories. If you join the team, you’ll meet the multi-talented Mark who has had his paintings exhibited and sold, and has a wall of medals and trophies from his days playing Boccia.

About you:

Support Workers at Salutem support people like Mark to overcome any personal challenges each day so they can achieve outstanding outcomes. Individuals in our Salutem family may have disabilities or require complex care, but that doesn’t stop them from having fun, laughing hard and loving life.

Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support to adults in our residential services. It’s definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of ‘dream’ jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!
