Kacee Lodge is a 7-bed residential care home in Great Horkesley, Colchester in Essex1 We provide care and support for adults who have a learning disability, physical disability, and complex health needs. We love to support our individuals to live a life they love and help them achieve any goal in mind!

We love all things sensory here at Kacee Lodge and spend lots of quality time with each other there, relaxing and taking in the lights and sounds. We also love spending time in the garden and have a sunflower race every year! We love spending time in the sunshine and are all partial to an ice lolly or two! Jason loves getting stuck in with staff and loves to help wherever he can and of course we love celebrating each other’s birthday’s with parties, food and lots and lots of cake!

We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual to join us as a Deputy Care Manager, to develop your skills at our Good care home in Area.

At Service, we provide a care support partnership with adults living with learning and mental health disabilities, who need assistance with their social and household activities. We truly believe the people we support deserve full and enriching lives. That’s why we’re looking for an organized and hardworking deputy manager. You will be expected to:

Oversee the running of home in the absence of the manager

Take person-centred approaches to supporting the service users

Lead the staff teams to ensure a high standard of care is offered and accurate records are kept

Ensure rotas are produced and implemented in an efficient way

Implement company procedures and reporting in relation to all aspects of the running of the home, including safeguarding, medication practices and health and safety.

To ensure the highest quality of care for the people we support we will provide you with easily accessible training, including bespoke specialist training that reflects the needs of people using services and your personal development.
